Tanabata (Star Festival) Tanzaku Decorations

Our students wrote their wishes on their strips of Tanzaku and hung them up on the tree, a Japanese tradition on Tanabata.



Tanabata was inspired by the Chinese folklore, "The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl". And it is known as the day in a year when Hikoboshi and Orihime can see each other.
